After a few days in Moncton, we broke up the long journey to Quebec City with a couple of nights stay in a place called Grand Falls. After we left Halifax in Nova Scotia we headed inland and made our way to Moncton. We returned to Canada a few days ago having really enjoyed our time in Maine and NE USA. Our first stop has been in Saint John, New Brunswick, famous for its Moosehead beer. We’ve spent the last couple of days in Acadia National Park as we make our way up the North East coast of the US and back towards Eastern Canada. We took a fairly scenic drive along the coast to get here from Portland, via some nice fishing villages and with a nice stop by a lake for lunch. On our first full day in Portland we decided to rent buggies and explore Peaks Island. Unlike the 4×4 off-road vehicle we had in Whistler, these were a lot more leisurely and were in the form of golf carts like you would use on a golf course.
